Walter Mouton and the Scott Playboys: Live at Festivals Acadiens et Créoles 1992-2014
Walter Mouton started The Scott Playboys in 1952, at thirteen years old. In those nearly sixty years, Mouton has established his reputation as a King of the dance hall- entertaining dancers and festival goers in Louisiana and beyond. In all that time, Mouton only recorded a few songs in the studio, notably his signature song "The Scott Playboy Special." This is a compilation of 17 tracks, recorded live at Festivals Acadiens et Créoles from 1992-2014. More information about the Festivals Acadiens et Créoles collection that these tracks are examples of, held at the Center for Louisiana Studies, can be found here.
