Notice Regarding New Submissions

Due to the ongoing fiscal crisis at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and its impact on staffing, the University of Louisiana Press is not accepting new manuscript or book proposals at this time.

This pause will allow our reduced staff to focus on fulfilling existing commitments to authors, maintaining current publishing operations, and ensuring that active projects receive the care and attention they deserve.

We remain deeply committed to publishing important work on Louisiana, the Gulf South, and the broader fields we serve, and we hope to reopen submissions when staffing and resources allow.
